Old Norse accounts link them to Odin and describe them entering a frenzied state known as berserksgangr, fighting with extraordinary fury. Legend has it that during the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066, a lone Viking warrior held the bridge against the English army and killed numerous soldiers before being struck from below by a spear. His death allowed the English to advance and ultimately defeat Harald Hardrada’s army, in a battle often seen as marking the end of the Viking Age in England. ================================== Recorded, mixed and mastered at Black Lounge studios by Jonas Kjellgren. ================================== Sabaton is a registered and protected trademark.
